Well I came upon your keep.
It was lovely frightening like horizon lightening,
where your beast lay fast asleep.
I walked through your nightmare finding I wasn't scared.
Well we woke up on the streets,
to a klaxon sound, this city weighing us down.
Tearing out the seams
that wove and bound us to our lost fortress.

The Bandit

Saw the reflection in the snow snow snow.
Caught my mis-direction feeling low low low.
This is the reason I've been calling you home.
Love you more, more than you know.
I come a runnin like a dog to feed.
Give me what I want, I'll give you what you need.
Every night I'm running in your dreams.
Love you more, more than it seems.
They shouted "bandit!" in a mountain town.
Lawman came a runnin and he took me down.
Now distant trains are bringin sad sad sounds
as they shake, shake the prison grounds.
A friend of rodents with my wheel of cheese.
Bring me severed fingers I'll make jail-bone keys.
Now I'm runnin fightin tremblin knees
looking for you baby -neath the trees.

Where I called home age 9, boxes powerlines
bloody streets and birds paralyzed.
Now while struggling hard to find a lost wild paradise
you took me by surprise with your smokey eyes.
Well, now that I see your face
it's clear as jelly fish.
My mountains are your curves, ya see?
My rivers in your kiss.
I found my forests in your hair.
My caves in your crevices.
Defend you with these beasts I bear.
You're my last wilderness.
You're my last wilderness.
Now together we must fight, to keep your fire alight.
Its the sun behind your eyes.
Those stones keep me alive.
Your fangs found my bloody tracks.
Wolf, puma attacks.
Im the druid from your past.
The future sent me back.
Who's that creature in the hood, who says what we often should?
Who's that creature in the hood?
Who's that creature in the hood, says the things we never could?
Who's that creature in the hood?
We're the whispers in the woods
scares the merchants from their goods.
We're the whispers in the woods.
We're the whispers in the woods
scares the merchants from their goods.
We're the whispers in the woods.

Between the black seas
the land of wires and concrete.
Listen to the buzzing
of the monster screens.
Here on the far moon
we watch them as they brew doom.
That oil like a monsoon
to feed the big machines.
We share the same star.
We made a plan to fly far
when Earth became a black scar.
We had to save a piece.
We have no factories.
The only green we need: leaves.
The land a wild tapestry
of beautiful and beasts.

The Beast
03:21
|

Waking behind that door
there's a beast locked and chained
to the cold stone floor.
It brakes off the chains it bore,
and cracks the oak like a raging boar.
Running wild through the harbor town
the beast finds some humans
and takes them down.
The cloaked men they ring the sounds
and the shouts and screams get drowned out.
The beasts running for the fields
where the men stand gripping
their shaking shields
It's instincts will never yield
slams right into the swords they wield.

From the East

From the east
Far from you, far from true.
From the east.
Hear my tunes, I'm with you.
From the east.
From the beast.
Beast like you, red and blue.
From the beast.
Beast like them, beast I am.
From the beast.
And in the least,
I hear you, speaking truths.
In the least,
I come to you, bear in blue.
In the least.

Cranberry Lake

|

Sudden rain, we found shelter on the way.
Kept our space, shivering on.
I was afraid, I was fighting to be brave.
Couldn't face the fright to hold you.
Cranberry Lake, hear the loons at bay.
We embraced as the wood burned on.
Thunder came, playing music as we lay.
Hearts enlaced in flow as one.

Sunsets
04:52
|

This is what I know:
I'd be lost without your glow
lighting as I go
through this dark hollow.
Without you hangin round
even birds sing lonesome sounds.
Small things bring me down
down to dark tomorrows.
The sun keeps setting on that road up ahead.
But you will bring me fire when that sun sets.
The sun keeps setting on that road up ahead.
But you will bring me fire when the sun sets.
Thinking of your smile
can give me fuel to last a while
but it don't erase no miles
between our bedrooms.
And knowing that you're mine
for some time that'll do me fine,
til its so hard to recline
when it's not beside you.
The sun keeps setting on that road up ahead.
But you will bring me fire when that sun sets.
The sun keeps setting on that road up ahead.
But you will bring me fire when that sun sets.
